Members of underrepresented groups face persistent barriers to equitable representation in the field of neuroscience and beyond. The main goal of our committee is to promote equity, diversity and inclusion for all employees at the ZNZ. We aim to counteract bias by promoting best practices to establish a positive workplace environment.
We focus particularly on raising awareness for gender inequality in academic institutions, promote the academic career of women as well as actively increase the integration of underrepresented groups in every activity of the ZNZ. In addition we aspire to promote a healthy, family-friendly work life balance for ZNZ members.
